Hello,

As hematoma has formed at the place of injury, it may take some time to heal. Massaging the area will give you more pain and keep disturbing healing in the hematoma so I would not advise that.

However, you can apply Diclogesic gel (Volini) locally to the area. You can also take Acetaminophen 500 mg or Ibuprofen 400 mg to relieve pain.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you recover soon!

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
