What Causes Dark Bleeding During Periods?
So my period was late this month by about 2 weeks.. I thought i was pregnant but today my period came and it was very dark (almost black) in colour and it was thick/pasty... I dont know whats wrong... Did I misscarry or is it just old blood because my period came late?

I really appreciate your concern, as long as the color of menses bleeding is there it goes on variation and it may be frank one to dark one and it does not matter at all or nothing to worry about it, if this is the dark one then it is not the sign of miscarriage more it was not the confirmed pregnancy, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
