What Causes Dark Brown Semen?
Dark brown semen. Has been going on more than a year. Awaken in morning with lower abdominal discomfort. Have had bloods taken and tested negative for prostate cancer, also gone to consultant and had a rectal exam. He arranged for camera, but I chickened out. Rather be dead than embarrassed!

dark brown semen is common to be seen in some men.. prostate cancer is ruled out by test.. so don't need to worry... dark brown semen many be due to some urinary tract infections, testicles injury or may be due to sexually transmitted disease...duting ejaculation prostrate contracts which may cause tear if vein which results in bleeding.. and this called heamatospermia... dark brown semen indicate previous bleeding...
