What Causes Dark Brownish Vaginal Bleeding While On Duphaston?

Hi. ...I was on tab.duphaston for 15 days but on 13 th day of tab. Duphaston I had slight dark brownish thick colour bleeding. I stopped my treatment after informing to my consult doctor. ..but still I m in same condition not getting properror bleeding. ..what shall I do. I got my LMP on 15th of august. ...I am planning for family planning ...pls give me the suggestion. Thanks

Hello,

The dark-coloured vaginal bleeding is due to the hormonal changes from Duphaston use.

I think it's not worrisome. Give time to get hormonal balance back to normal again.
Keep following up with gynecologist.

Pap smear testing is advised further to rule out any abnormal genital growth.
