What Causes Dark Circle Around The Eye?
There's a black stop in my right eye with a very think dark circle attached to it. Fully dilated eye exam shows no tears to the retina. But that was a week ago and it's still there. The pressure in my eyes is at 28 (both) and we may start glaucoma treatment in 3 months; as this has been consistant. But he says this is not related to the spot. I am afraid I will lose my vision in my only good eye. Oh, and I have lucite implants in both eyes from surgery years ago that apparantly was unnecessary..

Must properrtreatmemnt for glaucoma should start, i could not get it about your black spot location. is it in conjunctiva iris, retina. just measuring IOTis not final to diagnose or watch the progress of glaucoma. field tracing, optidisc cuprtatio, gonioscopy of anterior chamber, provocative test like water drinking dark room induced or drug induced test to identify glaucoma and its type. Treatment Tobe decided accordingly. Treatment is a must. itcanbe drops, oral medication or surgery. treating doctor will decide the treatment.
