What Causes Dark Green Phlegm During Cough While Suffering From Stomach Infection?
I have some kind of bladder infection and my sick looks a weird colour. What does it mean? I have some kind of bladder infection that is causing bugs in my stomach the doctors aren t exactly sure what it is. It causes severe pains in my stomach and makes me try and be sick. In the past I have had a lot of problems being sick normally I just cough and gag but I m still not able to be sick. But just last night and this morning I have managed to be a bit sick but is looks really unusual. It is green and watery but have some dark green clumps in it. Then this morning there was a bit more but some where little red/pink lumps. It s doesn t look right at all. Does anyone know what it wrong or what I should do?
You might have heard that yellow or green mucus is a clear sign that you have an infection, but despite that common misperception, the yellow or green hue isn't due to bacteria. When you have a cold, your immune system sends white blood cells called neutrophils rushing to the area. These cells contain a greenish-colored enzyme, and in large numbers they can turn the mucus the same color. Hence, Green mucus is a sign that your body's immune system is at work. The color comes from a type of infection-fighting white blood cell. With cold or flu, mucus starts clear then begins to darken as it gets thicker.
