What Causes Dark Growth Under Nail While On Salt Bath For Toenail Infection?
Hi I recently developed a fungal infection my toenail. I have seen my local doctor who suggested I let the nail grow out and bathe it in warm salt water, however I have noticed today that there appears to be a dark growth under the nail. Should I continue with the salt bathes or is there another solution?

I really appreciate your concern, try what the doctor suggested but in most of the fungal infection of the nail it need proper treatment and this includes anti-fungal orally as well as locally, some time nail need to be removed if the condition is not responding to treatment,
Tab Terbinafine 250 mg twice in day for 10 days
Terbinafine cream for local application.
