What Causes Dark Itchy Rashes Around Vagina, Groin Area And Anus?
Hello. I have developed a dark rash-ish area around my vagina, groin area, and around my anus. It s like purple and itchy at times... and the one on my groin is sort of bumpy. Mind you, I am 9 months pregnant. I have no idea what this is or what could have caused it.

You are having itchy rashes around vagina, groin area and anus. You are 9 months pregnant. When the uterus enlarges the blood volume rises, hence the increased pressure on the veins running through the anus causes them to swell. The increased pressure often causes anal burning, pain, and itching.
Anal itching also occurs due to prenatal vitamins containing synthetic iron. You are suggested to take a lot of water. Stay hydrated! Avoid standing and sitting for long durations. You can take probiotics and do kegel exercises. You are advised to do it only after consultation with your treating local doctor and under the observation and guidance of a physical therapist. Cold compression and sitz bath may help. Take care of your hygiene, keep your anus and private area clean and dry all the time.
