What Causes Dark Jell Like Bleeding During Periods?
Hi, I m worried about my periods. I m currently 19 years old when I was 13 I was put on the pill to regulate them as they were very irregular and heavy And I ve had no problems with them since I ve never had bad period pain either just the normal twinge. This period has been different. I m normally fairly heavy/messy and have to use big pads but I haven t been bleeding on my own I only bleed when I use the toilet and the blood isn t the same as normal instead it s darker and a snot like consistency it s gooey and not liquid.. Kind of jelly like. It s a lot more convenient for me but it s abnormal for me also so I m worried at what could be wrong My mum has endometriosis but I m too young to have this now and I have no pains?
I think it can just be a coincidence that you are having painful menstruation and heavy bleeding. I believe that you will get back to normal soon. It is good to continue the contraceptives as usual.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
