What Causes Dark Orange Urine And Diarrhea?
Hi, over the past 24-48 hours my urine has been orange and dark, as I ve also had diarrhea. I also routinely have a weak stomach and go through bouts of diarrhea, thus being first time urine so dark orange/brown. 3 yrs ago had high liver enzymes was monitored for 1-2 months then not revisited. I m now fearing the worst being concerned with my liver and bike ducts. Do you think this is a problem that was started 3 yrs ago? Or more acute w these symptoms? How soon do I need to see dr?

Is it orange coloured or just a darker / yellow coloured? Diarrhea may cause high coloured (yellow) urine from dehydration. Presence of true orange coloured urine along with diarrhea might suggest hemolysis. Although less common, this can happen in conditions like HUS (hemolytic uremic syndrome). In this case, you have to see your doctor without delay
