What Causes Dark Patches Around The Ankles While On Jantoven?
I am taking Jantoven 5MG (Warfarin) Tab to treat A Fib as directed and monitored by my Cardiologist. I have developed darkening patches of discoloration around the ankles slightly spreading onto the feet. I have now developed about 2 dozen small dark round spots mostly on my right leg extending down to the foot from my mid thigh down to my foot...only a couple on my left leg. I am concerned about what it may be, and if it is associated with my use of Jantoven.

Hi,
Warfarin has many bleeding manifestations.
Please get the lab test as INR and it should be maintained between 2 to 3.
As dosage of Warfarin may have to be reduced.
