Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi there, I am a teenager, and have a black pigment spot on my eye. It is on the most outer ring of the sclera, I am concerned with the fact that this could potentially be something serious, although I noticed it about three to four moths ago and did not fret. I just recently got my eyes checked, and this is when the opthamologist noticed it under a magnified scope. Do these typically get bigger...He suggested that I may have had this all my life but I am not sure...Do you think this is something to worry about in the future for my health? as well as the size of it?
HI Well come to HCM This could be congenital condition and this is nothing to worry because this may be genetically constituted, once you had opinion from the ophthalmologist then you need worry, hope this information helps, take care.
