What Causes Dark Red Spot Under The Left Eye Corner?
My wife woke up with a dark red spot under her left eye in the corner. Looks like pooled blood and it s the size of a pencil eraser. It might not of even been there when she woke up. No pain with it either. Whent to ER blood work was perfect. Please let me know what you think.

It seems that there might be having some irritation produced due to rubbing or had some foreign body fallen in the eye.
Go for blood pressure checking as in hypertension there can be minor hemorrhage in sub-conjunctiva.
Apply ice pack for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
