What Causes Dark Skin Around Buttocks And Neck?
Hi, I always wondered why the skin around my butt and on my neck is darker than the rest of my body. I also have stretch marks on my butt. I find it really uncomfortable and because of it I can not wear bikinis. I want to know why my skin is darker and how can I lighten it?

As per my clinical experience, dark skin around buttocks and neck can be related to various possibilities as:
- Insulin resistance with hyperglycemia
- Auto immune mediated conditions
- Hyper-pigmentation disorders
- Idiopathic
Though a skin expert can guide more precisely after clinical examination, it is suggested to search over laser therapy for this issue which gives satisfactory results in many of the patients.
