What Causes Dark Skin Discoloration On The Neck After Treating Rashes?
My daughter has darker neck.. When she is born that time her neck is fair same like her face .. But in 2nd month she had a rash on her neck... After some time rash has gone.. She is perfectly alright... But now she is 6 month old her neck is darker... Her pedestrian says its normal... Nothing to worry... Please tell me how this discoloration is gone...it s so darker... Look like its so dirty.. But it s not.. Please give me suggestions for that...thank u so much
As per my clinical experience, the dark skin discoloration after treatment of rash indicates possible melanin hyper-pigmentation underneath the healed regions of rashes. However, better evaluation with the photo pics of the area of discoloration is highly recommended for further guidelines. For time being approach, an application of Calamine lotion and vitamin E containing cream on alternate basis 3 times a day can give better outcome.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
