I have had a sore throat for about 4 weeks, I have had a 10 day coarse of antibiotics but still it has not cleared, I have noticed black like spots at the back of my throat which I have now got a further 10 day coarse of antibiotics for also I have had a swab taken and waiting for results to that.

Dark spots (like dark red or reddish black) on throat are characteristic of streptococcal infection. Once your reports are available the cause of infection will be confirmed and you will be given proper antibiotic.
