Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I just noticed a small (about half the size of a dime) dark almost black spot on the heel of my right foot. Not sure how long it has been there. Is that anything to be concerned about? I have also been experiencing light headedness and feeling nauseous, but my husband are trying to conceive and I won t find out until next week.
Hello and welcome to HCM, A dark colored spot on foot is likely to be due to pigmentary disorders. Did the black spot appear recently or has been present since birth? The black spot could be due to non-neoplastic lesion like mole or naevus to dysplastic naevus to malignant melanoma. Clinical assessment of the black spot is required. Besides clinical assessment, biopsy may also be required to exactly characterize the lesion. Any change in the black spot - color change, pain, itching, bleeding etc is alarming and should be reported. I suggest you to consult a dermatologist at the earliest.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, three condition you have been stated three condition here one is some black spot on heel so this could be nonspecific and it could be mole, second for headache and nausea this could be due to hyperacidity, and for the conception if every thing is favorable then it okay, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
