What Causes Dark Spots In The Vision?

My 63 yo husband got a chemical in his eye two days ago. He flushed immediately and had no problems. Last night he had a sudden onset of circular flashing lights in that eye. Today it seems to be dark spots in his vision in that eye. We will go to an Opthamologist tomorrow but what to do in the meantime?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Immediately go to Ophthalmologist. May be inside clots or scar.
In mean time Just close the eye with soft eye pad to avoid exposure to bright light.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. C.ELANCHEZHIAN, General & Family Physician
