What Causes Dark Spots On Vaginal Lips?
I have dark spots (almost black) on the lips of my vagina (closer to the vaginal entrance). They are a little raised and don t itch or burn. My discharge has been different but after seeing my gynaecologist 3 weeks ago it was determined that it was a bacterial infection. Because it doesn t bother me i forgot to mention it to her. But now after looking at myself it s bothering me. The skin by the entrance of my vagina has become significantly darker and it looks like a collection of small bumps. Please help me

Increased pigmentation may be the result of the infection.
It can also occur as a result of any trauma to the area.
After treatment, the pigment may slowly return to normal but this can sometimes take weeks to months in some cases.
