What Causes Dark Vaginal Spotting, Anxiety And Heart Palpitations?
Hi iam a 42 year old women my period have started to change lately..... last week a week before my period was due I spotted dark brown blood with some tissue in it for almost five days then my period has came a few days late, iv have been experience really bad anxiety and hot flushes ( well I think there hot flushes ) I have intense hot and prickly skin, heart palpitations and am really jumpy any sound has be jumping. I went to the doctors but all she gave me was valium and isn t doing a hormone check... just wanted to get a second opinion to see if you think I could be going into peri menopause Thankyou

Ovarian atrophy

hormone profile test
Pelvic scan
Meanwhile please see a gynecologist specialist with the results and for further clinical assessment and adequate drug prescription
