I had been using steroid(Betnovate-N) for past 9 years. I was using this cream to get rid of acne plus it helped to made the skin tone whiter. But last year(2016) in the month of January some side effects were occurred like redness and some sort of acne(but these are not exactly acne) on my forehead, nose, chicks and ear helix and later on over eye lids also. I am undergoing treatment for the same from AIIMS s skin dept since last 7 months and got only mild improvement. They have done some biopsy also for rozacea, LMDF and some blood tests also but all went negative. Currently they asked me to have one doxyxycline capsule at night after meal and apply tacvido ointment(0.1%) over face before going to bed. This gives me a mild improvement i.e. if I use this ointment on daily basis it show improvement(those acne stops appearing) but in case i do not use this ointment even for a single day then everything start getting back to the initial stage plus it seems my skin tone is getting darker day by day because of using this tacvido. As per the AIIMS doctors also they are not yet clear about my condition. They are not able to tell me how long this will take to get normal, just they are keep on saying to use doxycycline and tacvido only. Request you to help me out from this.
