I am breastfeeding my two month old son. My doctor prescribed me Sronyx and I am on week three, day one. I am noticing a RAPID decrease in my milk supply (used to be 8 oz every 4 hours, now 3 oz every 5 1/2 hours). I DO NOT want to supplement! What should I do? Should I stop taking the pills?
Of course, sronyx has this effect on breastfeeding supply. It reduces breast milk production and you have less breast milk supply for your child. You can stop it. Breastfeeding exclusively your infant can provide you with natural contraception even though not 100%. You can combine it with interrupted coitus in order to provide better protection.
Also, take lots of fluids and water also fruits and vegetables to increase the breastfeed supply for your baby.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
