Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have decreased hearing . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query damage to the inner ear , buildup of earwax , ear infection and abnormal bone growths or tumors or tympanic membrane perforation. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan along with physical examination and examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also recommend tympanoplasty or recommend hearing aid . For now keep your ear dry , cover it while bathing and apply warm dry compresses on external ear .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
