Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Thanks...I feel stupid, but am going to ask anyway. I feel a very, very deep pain on my right side, right where I would think the hip and leg bone meet, deep inside. For example, as I sit on the end of the bed and then put my right leg up on the bed out straight, it becomses a sharp deep (feels like to the bone) pain..
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. deep pain in hip has three possibilities. 1.Hip joint arthritis 2. nerve compression due to abnormal posture 3. facet joint arthropathy I would like to advise you to take Advil for two weeks with glasses of water. Avoid abnormal posture. If the problem still persists then go for X-ray Hip joint and MRI lumbosacral spine and let the doctor see your report. Hope it helps best.
