What Causes Deep Crease In The Cheek, With Soreness And A Bump?
Hello, about 5 months ago, after having my wisdom teeth taken out, I developed a small indentation looking like a dimple in the upper part of my cheek. It began to get deeper and there was a small bump under it. I saw an ENT and I had comic sinusitis, which I was given a 12 day antibiotic for. The dimple did not go away, it is now larger/ deeper creating a crease accross my face, and it is sore. No tooth problems. Have recently had a check up. There is some swelling and the bump under it is larger. My family dr cannot help, nor can the ENT or dentist. Who do I see next? What could this be?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of deep crease in the cheek, with soreness and a bump which is mainly by mild irritation or allergic reaction by cosmetic products mainly. As you have used new hair product, you noticed the red bumps after using a new hair product such as soap or conditioner, discontinue use and see if the bumps go away. I would suggest you not to worry about anything. Visit dermatologist once and start with use of antibiotics such as Azithromycin , topical medications such as topical steroids and glycolic peels or you can go with combination of these as well. Antihistamines can also be started if its because of allergic reaction. Also apply ice pack on cheeks to reduce soreness .
