What Causes Deep Pain In The Nipples?
Hi, Dr. Grief. I am a 43 year old man and I am experiencing a muscle-deep nipple pain on my right breast and it is localized around the right chest nipple. This pain has gone on for about two months and I have constantly felt around my breast to see if there is even the slightest lump but there is none and the pain still persists. Would you please explain to me what may be responsible for the pain ans what the problem could be with my right breast. Thanks.

There are some causes of deep nipple pain like pregnancy,infection,small benign tumors,hypothyroidism,widening of milk ducts,pagets disease of breasts.Consult gynecologists.they will advice to do mammography,ductography.C.T.scan,MRI,Thyroid hormone test,prolactin level blood test.
