What Causes Dehydration Along With Reduction In Systolic Blood Pressure?

husband had bad stomach flu Monday and Tuesday. Wed he was tired and rested, Thurs felt better and rested and yesterday eat cream of wheat and applesauce plus drink but is now dehydrated I fear. He has been able to hold food down and drink but is now very tired and his blood pressure is 148/64 with pulse of 79. I got him gatoraide and he is now drinking it and broth and water. He had toast and some spam for breakfast and wants tuna casserole for dinner. His stools are back to consistency but are green. Can I pull his blood pressure up with increasing his fluids. He is not confused but after his shower which is when we discovered how weak he was, he was exhausted.
