What Causes Delay In Conception After A Failed IUI Procedure?
Hi,I am 29 years old. Trying for pregnancy for 6-8 months now. Doctor suggested IUI due to moderate motility of husband sperm count. I did one IUI cycle but was unsuccesful and last cycle could not be performed as till day 18th of cycle no significant growth in follicle though HMG 3 injections given so IUI cancelled. After that we just tried intercourse as we knew this cycle is not great but i havnt got my periods for 42 days now from my last one. I did pregnancy test just 2 days after skipped period date but was negative so havnt done post that. Is it possible for immature follicle to mature later in cycle? or each month even immature follicle rupture and we get period? Also can immature follicle meet sperm and fertilise? Please guide
It is the only mature ovarian follicle which cause uterine bleeding in terms of menses and capable of meeting sperm to fertilize as well. Immature follicles pause anovulatory cycles. You have to remain in regular consultation with your OBGYN for fertility aspect as improper menstrual cycle, follicle maturation and sperm motility are of corner stone of the therapy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
