What Causes Delay In Conception Despite Taking Clomiphene?
hi dr how are you/ i am trying to fall pregnant for about 7 months now and it is not happening i was on clomiphene in december and my beta hcg results were 15.5 and then dropped to 10. i took it again in january and still no luck and i to0k it in february again and still no luck i have taken 3 courses so far and i am beginning to get frustrated and upset that it is not happening for me, i have a son who i conceived while i was on climbed 5 years ago my son is 4 years old soon to be 5 what should i do?

Thanks for the query. I understand .your concern.
You are advised clomiphene. that means you have ovulation problem ..mostly pcod.The effect of clomiphene is to be assesed by ovulation study to determine effective dose.Some times the dose of clomiphene needs to be adjusted according to need ./some cases when clomiphene is not effective doctor may change the medication/decide for surgery.
Please consult your gynecologist.
