What Causes Delay In Conception?

I was on Depo last year. The last dose of Depo was done in Oct 8,2015. I have not gotten my period. I will get extremly light spotting that only last for a day and doesn t happen every month. I feel light cramping when this occurs, then it stops. I have not had protected sex and I have been trying to get pregnant. All my preg. tests are negative. I m 38 years old. I don t know if this means I might me to old. I have never had a hard time getting pregnant in the past.

Hello,

Having a Depo shot can cause you to have irregular, delayed period or spotting or even not a period at all. You may need some months for your fertility to be back after removing depo.
