What Causes Delay In Menstrual Bleeding When Diagnosed With PCOD?
Hi,i am akansha I am 24yrs old and not married.i am having pcod problem. i missed my period for 2months and on 3rd month m having a period but its not normal period. First i had red brownish colour clot and then on the next day i had a bit of spotting and after that i had nothing...i am tensed about it..i had intercourse with my guy. Pls help me with this.

Delay in the period happens when someone is pregnant, when there is stressful situations in your life, when you do extreme diets and lose or gain a lot of weight or when you exercise extensively.
First make sure that you are not pregnant by doing a pregnancy test.
If you are not pregnant, then what I advise my patients is that it can happen for up to six months to have irregular periods, if one of the situations above applies. If these problems last for more then that time, then consider seeing a local doctor, to do an ultrasound so you can see what is going on with your ovaries.
