What Causes Delay In Menstruation After Discontinuing Birth Control Pills?
Hi I m taking phentermine daily and lipo shots once a week for weight loss. I recently removed my birth control on January 26. and have not use any other method of contraception. I haven t started my period. Since my last period the 6th of January which lasted until January 27. Could the phentermine be causing the first response pregnancy test to come out negative?

No, phentermine should not interfere with the pregnancy test. Although pregnancy will of course have to be adequately ruled out, I feel the menstrual irregularity is due to the shots as well as the weight loss program, and less likely to be due to pregnancy.
