What Causes Delay In Menstruation After Taking Regesteron For 5 Days?
Hi, I have been prescribed to take regesteron 5 mg thrice a day(5 days regular) and M2 tone syrup twice a day(20 days regular) to get my periods back as i am suffering from PCOS. My 5 days have been completed but i am still not getting periods. Now, What to do? Shall i continue to take the regestrone tablet further or continue only with M2 tone syrup.

Hi, I understand your query. PCOS a condition of hormonal imbalance causing disturbances in ovulation--thus menstrual cycle is disturbed. You were given a course of tab. Regestrone to induce withdrawal vaginal bleeding- so that specific treatment can be started after that. The bleeding starts within 8 days of withdrawal of pills. So you should wait for the period to start till then. You should not repeat tablet regestrone, Can continue with syrup M2 tone. Thanks.
