What Causes Delay In Menstruation Other Than Pregnancy?

i had sex with my boyfriend for the first time on the 13th of june. he did not insert it inside me completely because it did hurt alot we did unprotected so i took can i pill after a while. Then again on the 23rd we had sex but in the same way so i took an ipill again. I got my periods on the same day and it went on for around 13 to 14 days.then on the 20th July we had sex again but unprotected he did not come inside me but we still took an i pill we did it again but protected so did not have to worry this time. We again had sex on the 29th and this time we did unprotected so we took an ipill but he never did come inside me. In between we got worried because i did not get my periods so we also did home pregnancy test 3 times and everytime we did it it was negative. Now i am worried because i haven t got my period yet.what could be the problem?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Your menstrual disturbance can be attributed to the frequent use of the emergency contraceptive pill, which contains high doses of the hormone progesterone and so, disrupts the hormonal milieu. You should see an expert for a proper evaluation. You need a hormone profile and a trans-vaginal sonogram. you should start a suitable regular form of contraception once your menstrual cycle is normalized. Pregnancy is not possible in this scenario, so do not stress. Please restrict the use of the emergency pill to once or twice in a year. Hope this helps.
