What Causes Delay In Menstruation Other Than Pregnancy?
I did miss my period in July that is why I took 5 pregnancy test one said positive and the other 4 said negative, so on Thursday night I started to spot blood, then I woke up Friday morning with my shorts full of blood, and it was running down my legs. Then Saturday morning I woke up the same way, but there was a lot of little blood clots and I mean a lot of them and the blood is bright red. I was wonder if I should be worried and go to the doctors or if it is just a bad period.
I would advise you to consult gynaecogist immediately for physical examination like recording of blood pressure as excess blood loss can lead to hypotension, and an transvaginal ultrasound to look into uterus and cervix to see for retained product or product of conception.
you may require iron folic acid supplements or blood transfusion according to blood loss.
In my opinion within wasting any further time you must immediately seek medical help.
Meanwhile maintain good hygiene, use sterile pad and have lots of fluids to maintain good hydration and urine output.
Hope this answers your question, please feel free to ask for further assistance I will gladly answer you. Best wishes
