What Causes Delay In Menstruation Other Than Pregnancy?
Hiya, I have been attending the doctor to find out what is going on with me. First of all my periods were late 22 days. I have since then taken my period. I have got pains more up top of my back, plus getting shooting pains in my tummy, but now I am very bloated and painful even when I walk. Just went for blood test today for my hormones. Can you suggest what s going on. Thanks.
Hello dear Understand your concern Following are the possibility of irregular period: Endometriosis and dysfunctional uterine bleeding Fibroid and adenomyosis, Ovarian cyst or PCOS, hemorrhagic cyst I advice you to consult the gynecologist and get the following investigations along with the Hormonal test: ovarian follicle study, USG scan and endometrial biopsy. Doctor give you following advice: Oral contraceptive pill to regularize the period and progesterone only pill in second half of the period. Other management depend on the cause of problem. Avoid stress and eat healthy diet.drink plenty of fluids daily. Do regular exercise like walking and relaxation exercise like yoga and breathing exercise.
