Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. I would like to know first of all, why your doctor prescribed Misoprostol to induce the period. I would prefer progesterone for induction of a period. Given your menstrual history, if your periods prior to marriage were regular, you should get a trans-vaginal sonogram to know the status of the pelvic organs and with pregnancy excluded, get a complete hormone profile. It is possible to experience transient hormone disturbances at times of change in life style and some stress. This is self limiting and auto corrective. Please contact your consultant for the necessary further investigation. Hope this helps.
