What Causes Delay In Menstruation Other Than Pregnancy?

My period is 29 days late almost one month and am not worried because I know that am not pregnant but the problem is that this is the first time happens to me my period never was late. What should I do? Should I go to the doctor or should I take some pills? Help please.

I understand your concern. If you had no unprotected sex during the whole cycle then no need to worry. Most common cause for no menstruation is pregnancy. If period is late by one week then do not worry,as Menstrual cycle is not a fixed cycle. it varies from every cycle as per hormonal secretion. so my advice is wait for one more week and if there is no menstruation after a week then consult a doctor. if you get the period within a week then no need to consult any doctor.
