What Causes Delay In Periods After Having Safe Sex In A Thyroid Patient?

Hi Doctor,I have a thyroid issues due to which my menstruation cycle was not regular.However now I got married 2 months ago and we have protedted sex, I m missing my period in this month ( Aprill 23 (last period date), can I check for pregnancy or it is becaues of thyroid its getting delayed. We want to postpone the pregnancy for minimum 2 yrs, please suggest some ways to follow

I really appreciate your concern, if you have some thyroid disease and it is being treated means you are on some medicines for this so this may not interfere with conception and you may have it, so just forget about this, if you do not to be pregnant then you have to use the contraceptive methods (Not hormone therapy) hope this information, take care and have a nice day.
