What Causes Delay In Periods After Taking Novelon Pills?
I have been taking novelon pill for last two years. I had my last peroid on 18 sep 2016 . I have stop taking pill from september. I had 28 days mensuration cycle . I did not have peroids in october till now . Today is 29th day . Do peroids get delayed after stoping pill or there can be pregnancy
Novelon (desogestrel and ethanol estradiol) is a combinational contraceptive pill. When taken properly, the failure rates is less than 1%. The protection lasts only as long as you are taking the tablets. The menstrual cycles can get delayed by 3-5 days under normal conditions; you need not have to worry for such delays. And moreover the combinational pills can alter the rhythm of the menstrual cycle to some extent. But if you have had an unprotected intercourse after stopping the pills, then you have a chance of pregnancy. Hope the above information helps you. Thanks.
