What Causes Delay In Periods And Breast Soreness Despite Having Negative UPT?
I got the copper iud put in place on january 2nd 2016, had been on depo prior only for 2 shots, well when i had the iud inserted i bled for about 2 weeks i have yet since had a period, i also noticed that i think my iud is poking out of my cervix i cant get a appointment till next week. I have taken 2 pregnacy tests both were negative om the past montj could i be pregnant, i have recently has sore breasts some cramping i also had what seemed like a mucous plug like discharge the other day.
I don't think you are pregnant because you have constantly been in protection like Depo and then copper-T IUD. Also tests are negative so there is no risk of pregnancy. The IUD is not likely to fall but if you suspect so abstain from sex till you visit doctor or use condoms.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
