What Causes Delay In Periods And Headaches Despite Taking IPill?

I have taken ipill. Medicine. Two doses on 10 oct and. On 9 and 10 i have sex wth my bf but he does not penetrate. It inside if he touch it on area i dont know this aftr 24 hrs i take ipill two doses. At same day my periods are ipill for some months 16 sept my last periods date till its 15 oct but no periods yet i have svere headache also plz help me when does periods came and and how to reduce its side effects. Svere headache for all the time. Plz hlp me so tensed abt if me pregnant

Hi,

I-pill is an emergency contraceptive pill. When taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse, it would protect against pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within 7 to 10 days.

It seems from your description, it appears that you have taken an overdose of the pill. It could have caused hormonal imbalance due to which you are experiencing headache and delay in getting periods. Also delay in getting periods could be due to stress and anxiety, in addition to it.

Kindly get an ultrasound scan and consult Obstetrician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
