Hello dear Understand your concern Most common cause of delayed period is pregnancy in sexual active women. First you have to confirm the pregnancy if you had unprotected sexual intercourse in unsafe period of your cycle. Cause of negative UPT may be you did early. It will positive around 7-10 days after missed period. So please repeat the test after 3 days again. Better to go for blood HCG or Usg that is more accurate to confirm the pregnancy. Other cause of delay period: Excessive stress, sudden change in life style, thyroid disorder, irregular dietary habit, increased prolactin, hormonal imbalance, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, ovarian dysfunction/PCOS, endometriosis. Pemorit tablet used to induce bleeding in secondary amenorrhea. But it should be used after identified the cause by consulting the gynecologist, Better to consult the gynecologist if period will not come and get the following investigations: Full hormone profile, USG, endometrial biopsy,Hysteroscopy. ovarian follicle study.
