What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Having I-pill After Having Sex?

Hi, i was just having a nice time with my boyfriend and he just touched his penis on my vagina way before his ejaculation. It may be a pre-cum but we weren t sure about it. He dint ejaculate inside me and so just to be on a safer side, i took a i-pill 30 hrs later. After that i did not get any withdrawal bleeding or anything and my regular period was scheduled around 20 days after that incident. But Now iam 10 days late for my regular periods and worried. Although a week back I experienced white discharge for 4-5 days. Can u please help if I should be worried to be pregnant?

Hi,

Precum is known to have few active sperms which can impregnate a woman who is around her ovulation at the time of unprotected sex.
You had period expected after 20 days of the sex & there was a chance of pregnancy if you have a 30 days regular cycle. I pill are good in contraception earlier they are taken better is the result.

You had taken the pills after 30 hours of sex... I pill being high hormonal product...tends to cause a delay in period by 8-10 days.

*Considering all these points you should wait for your periods for a couple of days more go for a pregnancy test if you do not get period & get MTP done in case pregnancy test stands +be. (as the hormones in I pill can cause a congenital anomaly in the baby.)
