General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since she had been taking regular CP & also took Emergency CP, she shouldn't be pregnant. Taking CP interferes with the hormonal balance of the body. However, since she has missed periods; she is suggested to get clinically examined. Get pregnancy tests done with the first morning, mid stream urine. If she is not pregnant, she will be treated accordingly with medroxyprogesterone or norethndrone depending on the clinical history & symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
