General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Delayed period could be due to hormonal imbalance, ovulation problem, excessive stress, change in life style and dietary habit, thyroid dysfunction.
Generally period will come after 5-7 days after stopping meprate.
So wait for 2-3 days to come.
If period will not come then high dose of progesterone should be given to induce period.
Reproductive and thyroid hormone analysis, USG scan, ovarian follicle study will help in rule out cause.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise to mainatin weight according to BMI less than 24.9%
Hope this may help you

Contact further if follow up needed
