What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Cyclenorm-E For PCOS?
I didn t had my periods since almost 2 months after sonography doctor dignosed me with PCOS she asked me to take cyclenorm e and cyclenorm p tablets for 3 day 2 tablet each day ... I took it as proscribed .. after how many days will I get home my periods Because it has been 5 days after I have stoped the medicine
In many persons, the period would have started by this stage. If it does not occur within the next 3 to 5 days, then you may need to be reassessed because additional medication may be needed.
A delayed or irregular period is one of the key features of PCOS, there are some women who may not have a period for quite a few months.
Weight loss of any excess weight and the use of metformin (PCOS is associated with insulin resistance and metformin reduces this), may be helpful as well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
