What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Daphne Pills?
Good afternoon.. i need your advice in taking daphne pills.. i gave birth last june 27 , 2015 ..i want to take daphne pills but idont have my menstruation yet ...is it okay to take the pills without menstruation? Or i need to wait my mens? I have no contactwith my partner yet... Thanks...
You can take the pills right away.During lactation, periods may not occur due to lactational amenorrhoea.
Lactational amenorrhoea is absence of periods due to increased prolactin levels.
Exclusive breast feeding women can experience lactational amenorrhoea and is completely normal. So you can take the hormonal contraceptives right away and continue for 21 days.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
