What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Duoluton While Having PCOD?

hello doctor,i have pcod problem and i did not get my periods for one month i was prescribed with Duoluton L tablets which i took for 21 days and still have not got my periods its is the third day since i took my last tablet. please suggest what should be the next step..

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Normal menstrual cycles are 28 to 35 days long. As you have completed 21 days of medicine, you might have to wait for 7 to 10 days for menstruation to start. This is your third day so you may have to wait for another 4 to 7 days.

If you do not get them after 10 days of stopping the medication, you should contact the gynecologist for further management.
