What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Taking Postinor-2 After Having Sex?

Hi I had protected sex on the 5th day into my cycle and took postinor 2 tablet the 1st pill on that same day after an hour and took the 2nd pill 24 hours after the first pill. I had light spotting ten days after taking postinor and it lasted for five days. It s now exactly 23 days since the sex and taking of postinor and am two days late in my period. I have tested three times for a pregnancy using morning urine and all tests have cone out negative. So Wats my problem??? Could I be pregnant? I was supposed to get my period on the 12th of Aug but I haven t gotten it

Understand your concern
There are two cause of delayed period:
1. hormonal imbalance caused by the prostinor 2:
It contain high progesterone that prolong the second phase of cycle.
Cause delay in the period by 8-10 days.

2. Pregnancy: postinor 2 has 5-10 % failure rate.
You have to confirm the pregnancy by pregnancy test if period will delay by the 12-14 days.
If you are pregnant then still you can terminate the pregnancy by abortion pill under the advice of gynecologist.

Avoid stress, take healthy dieat and drink plenty of water
